About the role
- Precertification Coordinator reviewing medical service requests and responding to telephone inquiries for Medlogix. Requires attention to detail and customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- The Pre-Certification Coordinator receives requests for medical services from the treating healthcare provider’s office.
- The request is reviewed to ensure all necessary information is received;
- Required data is entered into Medlogix® software for the Pre-Certification Nurse to review.
- The Pre-Cert Coordinator will also respond to telephone inquiries regarding automobile claims.
Requirements
- 1 year of Data Entry experience
- 1 year of Customer Service experience
- 1 year of Medical administration experience
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
- Strong typing skills; 10-key entry a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including rules of composition and grammar
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently handling multiple tasks
- Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
- Microsoft Office / Windows Software Experience
