Precertification Coordinator reviewing medical service requests and responding to telephone inquiries for Medlogix. Requires attention to detail and customer service experience.
Responsibilities
The Pre-Certification Coordinator receives requests for medical services from the treating healthcare provider’s office.
The request is reviewed to ensure all necessary information is received;
Required data is entered into Medlogix® software for the Pre-Certification Nurse to review.
The Pre-Cert Coordinator will also respond to telephone inquiries regarding automobile claims.
Requirements
1 year of Data Entry experience
1 year of Customer Service experience
1 year of Medical administration experience
Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
Strong typing skills; 10-key entry a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills including rules of composition and grammar
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently handling multiple tasks
Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
Microsoft Office / Windows Software Experience
