  • Sales Representative for Medline's Acute Care sales team focusing on laboratory consumables and capital equipment. Engaging hospital departments and managing relationships with healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

  • Calling on all departments within the hospital lab
  • Selling Laboratory Consumables and Capital Equipment
  • Driving sales growth on all lab product categories
  • Collaboration with acute care reps and IDN marker directors
  • Making sales presentations of products
  • Establishing and nurturing customer relationships
  • Achieving sales growth goals
  • Developing a regular call cycle with decision makers
  • Managing and maintaining existing business
  • Heavy cold calling to prospect new accounts
  • Managing territory with an entrepreneurial spirit

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of quota-based sales experience or 5 years of similar experience
  • Background in cold calling and full-cycle sales experience
  • Track record of sales growth and quota attainment
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Computer proficiency (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Previous laboratory consumables and capital equipment sales experience preferred
