About the role

  • Operations analyst executing operational processes for insurance benefits. Collaborating with clients and ensuring accurate processing of necessary operations and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all operational movements of insurable and non-insurable benefits (enrollment, removal, change, upgrade and/or plan extension) using the portals and/or systems of carriers and/or insurers, to ensure correct processing.
  • Process the billing kit using the portals and/or systems of carriers and/or insurers, in order to deliver it to the client in an organized and secure manner.
  • Verify invoices by checking all data and information contained in the Billing Kit files to ensure that all recorded movements have been processed correctly.
  • Review all received documents by identifying contradictory data and/or information, gaps, errors, incorrect numbers and documents, and outdated information, in order to safeguard against problems that could cause losses for the business and/or client.
  • Maintain control records of all movements performed by completing required data and information to ensure effective monitoring of actions taken.
  • Provide empathetic, customer-focused service by treating clients attentively, based on dialogue and understanding their needs, in order to clarify doubts and provide necessary information regarding the billing and/or cost-allocation process.
  • Evaluate dependents who reach legal age (Monthly Billing Report and Insurers' Registration Status) by analyzing reports issued by carriers and/or insurers, in order to process removals due to age-limit (coming of age).
  • Identify opportunities for improvement by mapping processes during execution, applying procedures and workflows, in order to suggest actions that enable continuous improvement in operational performance.
  • Perform other related professional activities inherent to the position as required by the area and/or demand, through training, professional qualification and guidance from the immediate supervisor, in order to ensure continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Human Resources Management or related fields
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in the insurance area with operational processes for health, dental and life products
  • Customer-focused mindset, professionalism, collaboration, innovation, organization, analytical ability and resilience
