About the role

  • Senior Account Manager at M+C Saatchi World Services managing impactful communications campaigns on global issues. Leading project lifecycles, engaging stakeholders, and delivering results in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery. Oversee timelines, budgets, estimates, approvals, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • Manage production with minimal oversight, spotting risks, scope changes, and smarter ways of working.
  • Elevate the work. Play an active role in shaping presentations and outputs.
  • Help ensure every piece of work is on brief, insight-driven, and strategically sound.
  • Engage confidently with clients. Present clearly and articulately.
  • Lead constructive discussions around feedback, filter and debrief thoughtfully, and push back where appropriate in a clear and solutions-focused way.
  • Champion strategy. Understand the broader strategic direction of your accounts and work closely with strategy and creative teams to shape briefs and outputs.
  • Build strong relationships. Develop trusted relationships with clients and cross-agency teams.
  • Contribute to agency life. Support cross-agency collaboration, mentor more junior colleagues, and contribute positively to team culture.
  • Manage up and down. Escalate issues appropriately, act as a reliable point of contact for production and delivery, and provide day-to-day leadership so senior team members can rely on you with confidence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a commercial communications role or similar environment
  • A degree in Politics, History, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
  • A practical understanding of business operations and agency processes, with experience working with production
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A strong interest in geopolitics and global affairs
  • The legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work independently
  • Bonus points if you have Spanish language skills (working knowledge or fluency)
