About the role

  • People Operations Advisor at M+C Saatchi Group supporting manageable processes in Australia and New Zealand. Focused on optimizing employee experiences and compliance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the running of an effective, consistent and people first employee lifecycle.
  • Spot common themes or challenges and suggest ways to improve knowledge or ways of working for our people team and employees.
  • Partner with the Global People Operations team to review, enhance, and implement processes, policies, and systems across AUNZ.
  • Support the rollout and ongoing development of global people initiatives designed to simplify and improve the employee and manager experience.
  • Support the People team and managers with compliance activities including Right to Work checks, visa sponsorship, and mandatory training.
  • Work closely with immigration partners to manage sponsorships efficiently and keep stakeholders informed throughout the process.
  • Produce accurate, timely people data and reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Act as a Workday champion across ANZ, supporting adoption, troubleshooting queries, and assisting with the rollout of new functionality.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a People Operations or a People support role.
  • A working understanding of Australian and New Zealand basics, with the ability to guide managers through key processes.
  • A helpful, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in supporting employees and managers.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while staying accurate and detail-focused.
  • Willingness to suggest improvements and look for ways to make processes simpler and more effective.
  • Comfortable working with data and systems, with an interest in learning reporting and insights.
  • Maintaining confidentiality is one of your biggest strengths.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information in a straightforward way to a variety of stakeholders.
