Responsibilities
Assist in planning and execution of high-profile, mid-tier, and small-scale events, including on-site staffing.
Support a specific event portfolio, handling essential operational tasks to ensure smooth event delivery and team functionality.
Provide back-up event support across the team to allow for cross-training and ensure adequate event support across all sub-teams.
Anticipate and independently manage logistics, agendas, and other materials for meetings, events, appointments and presentations—troubleshooting issues as needed, taking notes, and organizing follow-up actions.
Submit employee expenses and vendor invoices.
Assist with daily administrative activities and support logistical coordination for specific tasks, including scheduling, parking, vendor management, and/or volunteer coordination.
Maintain RSVP and event records and assist with budget tracking and expense documentation.
Requirements
2-3 years of client-facing or relationship-building experience
Bachelor’s degree
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organizational, time management, problem solving and project management skills
Command of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, or the ability to learn them quickly
Competency using videoconferencing platforms (Zoom and Teams preferred)
Proficiency with data entry or data management in a database (Blackbaud CRM or Raiser’s Edge preferred)
Attention to detail, creativity and strong work ethic
Desire and motivation to learn about the organization and fundraising
Awareness of personal work styles in self and others
Adaptability and flexibility in times of shifting priorities
