About the role

  • Regional Sales Manager for Marmon/Keystone overseeing sales in the Southern US. Leading teams in revenue growth and strategic account development across multiple states.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outside Sales Representatives and the Inside Sales Manager, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive regional revenue growth and profitability across Houston, Dallas, Alabama, and Georgia.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives and market opportunities.
  • Oversee pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and long term customer agreements to protect and expand margins.
  • Ensure strong coordination between inside and outside sales to maximize account coverage, responsiveness, and customer retention.
  • Forecast revenue, maintain pipeline visibility, and analyze performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure reliable fulfillment, inventory optimization, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new market segments, expansion opportunities, and strategic accounts to accelerate growth.
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to proactively position Marmon/Keystone for success.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in steel service center or metals distribution environments.
  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership and team development across both inside and outside sales functions preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of carbon steel products and distribution channels.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining disciplined margin management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Strong forecasting, CRM management, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Willingness to travel 70+ percent throughout the South Region.
