  • Director leading marketing, development, and outreach strategy for faith-driven nonprofit serving multiple counties. Overseeing branding, communications, and community engagement with a focus on faith-based principles.

Responsibilities

  • The Marketing, Development, and Outreach Director leads MACC’s organization-wide strategy for brand development, communications, fundraising, and community engagement.
  • Serving as a cabinet-level director reporting directly to the CEO, this role sets and enforces unified brand standards for the MACC family of programs.
  • The Director is responsible for shaping MACC’s public voice, strengthening community identity, managing organizational storytelling, and guiding strategic development initiatives, including grant writing and donor engagement.
  • This role oversees marketing production, public relations, social media, grant writing, outreach efforts, and community engagement programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit leadership, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in marketing, public relations, development, or nonprofit communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.
  • Proven experience in grant writing and grant strategy development.
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing, brand, or outreach teams across multiple program areas or sub-brands.
  • Strong writing, editing, and public communication skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with partners, media, public agencies, churches, and diverse community groups.
  • Familiarity with faith-based nonprofit environments and alignment with MACC’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Ability to travel throughout MACC’s service area for outreach events and partner meetings.
