Responsibilities
The Marketing, Development, and Outreach Director leads MACC’s organization-wide strategy for brand development, communications, fundraising, and community engagement.
Serving as a cabinet-level director reporting directly to the CEO, this role sets and enforces unified brand standards for the MACC family of programs.
The Director is responsible for shaping MACC’s public voice, strengthening community identity, managing organizational storytelling, and guiding strategic development initiatives, including grant writing and donor engagement.
This role oversees marketing production, public relations, social media, grant writing, outreach efforts, and community engagement programs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, nonprofit leadership, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in marketing, public relations, development, or nonprofit communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role.
Proven experience in grant writing and grant strategy development.
Demonstrated success leading marketing, brand, or outreach teams across multiple program areas or sub-brands.
Strong writing, editing, and public communication skills.
Ability to engage effectively with partners, media, public agencies, churches, and diverse community groups.
Familiarity with faith-based nonprofit environments and alignment with MACC’s mission, vision, and values.
Ability to travel throughout MACC’s service area for outreach events and partner meetings.
