About the role

  • Specialist in Long Term Incentives programs ensuring business strategy alignment and talent retention at Localiza&Co in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead in structuring, managing and evolving Long-Term Incentive (LTI) programs, ensuring alignment between business strategy, retention of critical talent and sustainable value creation;
  • Lead the design, review and enhancement of LTI programs, ensuring market competitiveness, compliance with corporate guidelines and robust governance;
  • Perform scenario simulations, budget impact analyses and feasibility studies for long-term programs, considering performance, strategic targets and financial indicators;
  • Conduct structured benchmarking of LTI and executive compensation practices, analyze market trends and propose improvements to short- and long-term incentive policies;
  • Ensure governance of LTI cycles: eligibility, performance criteria, metrics, goal tracking, results determination, provisions and executive communication;
  • Integrate LTI programs with the Total Rewards strategy, connecting long-term incentives to base pay, short-term variable pay, job structure and organizational architecture;
  • Support strategic projects related to executive compensation, retention of key talent and the design of long-term recognition policies;
  • Develop executive dashboards and BI analyses to monitor LTI metrics, financial provisions, eligibility distribution and future scenarios;
  • Serve as a technical reference for senior leadership, HR and business areas on topics related to strategic compensation, long-term incentives and market practices;
  • Explore automation, analytics and AI tools to optimize controls, simulations, forecasting and governance of incentive programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Human Resources or related fields;
  • Solid experience structuring and managing Long-Term Incentive (LTI) programs, including plan design, financial modeling, definition of performance metrics and governance;
  • Experience with executive compensation and short- and long-term incentive programs (STI and LTI);
  • Deep knowledge of salary structures, job evaluation and market practices, with an integrated Total Rewards perspective;
  • Advanced Excel skills for simulations, sensitivity analyses and scenario building;
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI) to develop indicators and executive reporting;
  • Experience with HR systems/HRIS and controls related to strategic compensation;
  • Analytical capability and strategic vision to link LTI to value creation, budgeting, retention and organizational strategy;
  • Clear communication and a consultative approach for interacting with executives and strategic stakeholders.
