Business Development Manager supporting mortgage brokers and financial advisors with a focus on residential mortgages. Building relationships and developing business opportunities within the Halifax Intermediaries team.
Responsibilities
Join Halifax Intermediaries and support mortgage brokers and financial advisors
Build and maintain strong external relationships within a well-established territory
Collaborate with key partners to develop business opportunities
Educate and support brokers to help them meet the needs of their clients
Keep track of risks within the intermediary mortgage market and educate intermediaries on them
Requirements
Two years of strong business development and/or relationship management skills, preferably within an intermediated environment
A good understanding of the buy to let mortgage market landscape covering regulatory, technical, and legislative changes and opportunities.
Excellent presentation and communication skills including face to face, telephone and in virtual environments.
Effective time management and planning skills to get the most value from your day
Experience of working in financial services, preferably an area focused on mortgages.
Ability to read, understand and use data effectively to help your co-ordinate & prioritise your workload.
In depth understanding of risk, compliance, and regulatory changes & opportunities.
A CeMap Qualification (or working towards) would be beneficial but not essential.
