About the role

  • Accounting Analyst responsible for monthly expense appropriation and reconciliations at Lincoln Electric. Supporting managerial reports and tax obligations for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly recognition/appropriation of prepaid expenses and related reconciliations.
  • Analyze monthly expenses and perform necessary provisions, allocations and reclassifications.
  • Revenue analysis and cutoff.
  • Manual accounting entries.
  • Reconciliation, analysis and posting of payroll.
  • Review and submission of the monthly close schedule and spreadsheet control (quarterly).
  • Filing and verification of account reconciliations.
  • Tax reconciliations and related adjustments.
  • Reconcile various asset and liability accounts by comparing the accounting report (general ledger) with supporting reports (spreadsheets, financial module reports).
  • Prepare monthly close routines relevant to your activities.
  • Provide support for management reports and reports to Corporate/HQ (HFM among others).
  • Support in delivering statutory filings and regulatory submissions to government bodies and other regulatory agencies (ECD, ECF, IBGE, BACEN, among others).

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Basic Spanish and/or English (desirable).
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI and CO modules).
  • Knowledge of Mastersaf.
  • Microsoft Office suite.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting or related areas.
