Responsibilities
- Produce financial statements for IGR and external retrocession with a focus on IFRS17 during quarterly closing cycles
- Validate and analyze financial figures, serving as the main point of contact for inquiries related to internal and external retrocession results
- Drive process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and exploring new technologies to enhance accuracy and productivity
- Ensure data integrity and completeness within our financial systems
- Support strategic initiatives and projects related to the financial reporting landscape
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field (or Swiss qualification: Fachmann/-frau im Finanz‑ und Rechnungswesen)
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Interest in quarterly closing processes and financial reporting
- Willingness to learn and work with finance systems (e.g. SAP, FPSL, LFD)
- Good proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
