  • Account Director at LimeLight Marketing managing client relationships and driving growth. Leading strategic and technical initiatives for established ecommerce brands with a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Leads high-level strategic discussions to position the agency as a partner in the client’s long-term success
  • Identifies and secures significant growth opportunities across multiple accounts
  • Builds client loyalty by exceeding expectations and consistently delivering measurable results
  • Partners with account team members to ensure consistent service quality and supports the development of account staff through day-to-day collaboration
  • Influences the development of new agency services or capabilities based on client needs and industry trends
  • Develops and communicates high-impact strategies that influence client business success at a strategic level
  • Anticipates industry shifts and positions clients to capitalize on emerging opportunities
  • Identifies and mitigates risks associated with strategic initiatives while maintaining long-term objectives
  • Contributes to the account team's collective strategic capability through shared learnings and collaborative problem-solving
  • Shapes the agency’s strategic approach by integrating innovative frameworks, tools, and methodologies
  • Leverages understanding of ecommerce platforms, marketing technology, and digital analytics to identify strategic opportunities and position solutions credibly with client stakeholders
  • Mentors team members on effectively positioning technical solutions to clients
  • Influences service offering development based on client needs and market opportunities
  • Drives a culture of transparency and accountability in all communication and collaborative efforts
  • Represents the agency in high-stakes meetings, demonstrating exceptional communication skills
  • Mentors others on effective client communication and cross-department collaboration
  • Develops and refines communication strategies that align with organizational goals and client success
  • Resolves complex conflicts diplomatically while maintaining strong relationships across all stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a agency account management role
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Experience with inbound and outbound marketing tactics, as well as digital marketing channels — particularly search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing, content marketing, social media, email, and websites
  • Ability to interpret data and reporting from platforms including GA4, Klaviyo, Google Ads, and ecommerce platforms to inform strategic recommendations
  • A strong technical aptitude to confidently engage in conversations related to marketing and development projects
  • Experience in customer journey mapping, funnel mapping, and persona development
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze and inform on marketing data and make recommendations
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously while working against tight deadlines
  • Proficient in writing clear, concise, detailed briefs
  • Proven experience working with multiple client personalities and communicating timely and effective manner
  • A desire to work both at a strategic level and tactically on projects and campaigns
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
