Responsibilities
- Conduct neuropsychological assessments of children and adolescents presenting with psychiatric, developmental, medical/neurological, and learning issues
- Collaborate with families, schools, and referral sources to ensure effective care coordination
- Provide psychotherapy if competent; primary focus is on assessments
Requirements
- Expertise in working with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders in preschool and/or school age children and adolescents
- Ability to communicate effectively with families, schools, and referral sources
- Expectation to coordinate care of patients with primary care partners
- Competence in providing psychotherapy may apply
