About the role

  • Global Conferences Operations Intern supporting operational logistics for large-scale conferences in Utah. Engaging in planning and coordination while providing administrative support to ensure efficient execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support the work of the Global Conferences team with operational logistics for multi-day, large-scale conferences and events.
  • Draft and edit proposals for initiatives to be incorporated into conferences.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal and risk management documentation for conferences.
  • Contribute to the development and management of human resource vendor partnerships.
  • Monitor action items and follow up for timely completion of deliverables.
  • Provide administrative and project support to facilitate efficient workflow and communication.
  • Engage in planning meetings to recommend operational improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure successful conference execution.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Church doctrine, history, organization, and policy
  • The ability to manage many projects simultaneously
  • The ability to give careful attention to detail, sustain concentration for long periods of time, and maintain the highest level of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the department professionally
  • **Preferred:**
  • Coursework or experience with project management, event management, hospitality, communications, business, organizational behavior, and/or human resource
  • Proficiency in an additional language
