About the role

  • Analyst supporting capital markets operations, focusing on trade lifecycle management and process improvement initiatives. Gaining exposure to global financial markets and developing analytical skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end trade lifecycle across FX, derivatives, commodities and futures, including trade capture and confirmation, settlement coordination and payment facilitation, reconciliations and break investigation, regulatory and internal reporting.
  • Assist with counterparty onboarding and trading infrastructure setup, including documentation and coordination with investment banks.
  • Support fund finance operations and treasury-related activities.
  • Assist with LEI management and client documentation processes.
  • Collect and organise client financial statements and support ATE testing processes.
  • Contribute to the identification of process inefficiencies and assist in implementing improvements.
  • Support automation and workflow enhancement initiatives.
  • Use Excel and other tools to analyse operational data and improve reporting accuracy and transparency.
  • Work closely with senior team members to understand operational workflows and best practices. Build effective working relationships with clients, banks, brokers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial services, capital markets operations, treasury, fund administration, or a related field.
  • Exposure to financial instruments such as FX, derivatives, fixed income or commodities is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in an operational, analytical or process-driven role preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Strong Excel skills (including formulas, data manipulation and reconciliation).
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Interest in automation, data analysis and improving processes.
  • Exposure to Python, Alteryx, VBA, Power BI or similar tools is advantageous but not required.
  • High level of accuracy and organisational discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with strong ownership mindset.
