About the role

  • Gate Clerk/Office Administrator managing calls and clerical duties for Liberty Tire Recycling. Responsible for the scale house operations and customer service interactions in Puyallup, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls and directing calls accordingly
  • Run the scale house
  • Provide clerical support
  • Maintain spreadsheets (EXCEL)
  • Must function and interact daily with plant/transportation personnel and comply with all safety requirements
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Account collections and account reconciliation
  • Out bound loads, including Grade, prepare workorders
  • Bill of lading preparation
  • Trailer inventory/log
  • Broker log maintenance
  • Production/Grade portal entries
  • Light office cleaning – keeping workspaces within the office presentable
  • Manage office supply inventory and purchasing, including break room supplies
  • Inbound/outbound UPS mail & Federal Express
  • Provide clerical support
  • Maintain spreadsheets

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • 18 years or older
  • 2 years experience working in a customer service role
  • Bilingual English/Spanish; Preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook a must
  • Communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, in person and on the phone
  • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
