About the role

  • Business Process Specialist Apprentice responsible for assisting with technical support and documenting business processes at Liberty University. Streamlining processes and improving departmental efficiencies through technical means.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the department he or she is assigned to with technical issues. Works on tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Assists their team in streamlining business processes using new or current technology.
  • Documents business processes, reviews inefficiencies, and makes recommendations for improvement to supervisor.
  • Learns University systems and data sets in order to accurately extract information from those systems.

Requirements

  • Must have experience using MS Excel and/or Access.
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills.
  • Proof of a valid driverโ€™s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employeeโ€™s position.
