Responsibilities
Working within the Traffic & Compliance Team
Provides fast paced and challenging workload
Delivers the reactive maintenance service across the borough as required under The Highways Act 1980
Responsible for identifying and overseeing all reactive maintenance of the Borough’s highways in relation to the carriageway, footway, and verge network
Works closely with counsellors, contractors, and stakeholders in order to ensure all involved parties’ interests are met in line with Council policy
Responsible for effective management and administration of a number of tasks within the Traffic & Compliance team, including the S81 programme management, committing works orders, uploading diversions onto one.network and to ensure the projects are completed to programme, to standard and to budget
Requirements
Experience using Microsoft office package
Experience using oracle database
Experience in Highways administration
Knowledge of local government legislation
Strong Reporting Skills
