About the role

  • HR Manager responsible for operational HR processes at an ambitious tech start-up in Berlin. Leading HR management initiatives and enhancing employee lifecycle experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR administration including onboarding, payroll, contracts, and personnel records
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and procedures aligned with company goals
  • Optimize HR workflows, systems, and reporting to enable data-driven decisions
  • Manage HR tools and dashboards to maintain accurate records and actionable insights
  • Partner with management and cross-functional teams to proactively address HR needs
  • Support managers and employees with clear, reliable HR guidance
  • Drive employee satisfaction and foster a fair, engaging work environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in HR management or administration, preferably at a fast-growing company or start-up
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and personnel administration
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments
  • Strategic mindset with strong attention to detail and focus on process optimization
  • Interest in or experience with AI-driven HR tools and process automation to improve efficiency
