About the role

  • Support and maintenance of IT endpoints (desktops, laptops, multifunction devices) and assistance to users with technical issues
  • Setup, maintenance and servicing of workstation systems and peripherals
  • Onboarding new employees to IT systems and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
  • Management of IT asset management and support with procurement and administration of hardware and software
  • Performing general maintenance on IT endpoints to ensure uninterrupted operation
  • Occasional support of Corporate IT on network, server and IT security-related topics

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT or an equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in IT desktop support, including PC hardware installation
  • Knowledge of ITIL Service Management
  • Windows 7–11, Microsoft Active Directory, MS Office 365 and antivirus solutions
  • Experience with user administration tools and software and operating system deployment
  • Basic knowledge of network, firewall and server structures
  • Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 10%)
