About the role

  • Pre-Sales and Implementation Consultant engaging prospects and managing implementations for a fintech platform. Delivering projects from sale to completion in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and technical requirements
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients, including enterprise-level organizations
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Act as a trusted advisor on both technical and business matters
  • Build rapport with clients through professional relationship management, demonstrating industry knowledge and business acumen
  • Take full ownership of projects from sale through to completion
  • Self-manage deliverables, timelines, and client expectations without relying on external project managers
  • Implement our products directly, learning and mastering our tools to deliver solutions independently
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries and analyse data
  • Proficiency in API testing and integration using tools like Postman
  • Experience navigating browser developer tools (Network tab, debugging)
  • Comfortable with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new software platforms and tools
  • Experience creating clear, comprehensive technical documentation
  • Understanding of the financial services and investment management industry
  • Ability to engage in meaningful conversations with investment professionals
  • Capacity to ask intelligent questions and follow along in technical and business discussions
  • Self-starter with a "do something" mentality and strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to work independently without constant direction or supervision
  • Proactive problem-solving approach; does not wait for instructions when stuck
  • Reliable, committed, and willing to put in the effort required to deliver excellence
  • Ability to self-manage projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Comfortable leading client calls and managing stakeholder communications independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
  • Comfortable engaging with clients at all levels, from technical staff to C-suite executives
