About the role

  • (Senior) Online Marketing Manager handling online marketing strategies and client relations. Working in hybrid setup, contributing to various digital marketing projects in Berlin.

Responsibilities

  • Consulting, conception, analysis, management and optimization of online marketing channels: SEA (Google Ads, Bing & co.)
  • SEO (search engine optimization)
  • Affiliate marketing
  • Product search engines / price comparison portals
  • Programmatic advertising: display & remarketing (RTB / RTA)
  • Social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Ads, XING Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Marketing automation / e-mail marketing
  • Responsibility for media planning and advertising creatives
  • Management of external service providers
  • Advising clients and key accounts
  • Monitoring KPIs and budgets from a performance perspective
  • Optimization and provisioning of product data (e.g., for Google Shopping)
  • Identifying usability and conversion optimization opportunities
  • Budget and revenue responsibility
  • Web analytics / tracking / analysis & interpretation
  • Target optimization: CPL, CPO, KUR, ROAS
  • Client workshops, including on-site at client locations
  • Coordination with other offices; regular travel between the Stuttgart, Hamburg and Berlin locations

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration and/or a comparable degree or vocational training
  • At least 2 years of experience in online marketing and 3 years of professional experience
  • Decisiveness, strong negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Customer-oriented, independent, structured and goal-oriented working style with a strong service orientation
  • High affinity for online/digital channels
  • Deep knowledge of AI-driven marketing strategies and experience with AI tools for campaign optimization
  • A good eye for design and layout as well as technical and marketing copy
  • Ability to work precisely, reliably and results-oriented under time pressure
  • Professional and business-appropriate demeanor toward colleagues, clients and partners
  • Confident handling of Microsoft Office software
  • Fluent German and English, spoken and written
