About the role

  • Associate Director managing Business Development in Maschinen-und Anlagenbau at KEYPLAYER, a growing firm in Executive Search and Interim Management. Involves client acquisition and managing national and international key accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director, Mechanical and Plant Engineering in building and expanding the segment
  • Develop innovative ideas for a structured approach to the segment
  • Acquire new clients to fill key positions and expand key accounts
  • Develop strategies together with the Director to identify and optimize potential
  • Manage existing clients and continuously develop key customer relationships
  • Lead recruitment projects for national and international mandates in cooperation with research specialists
  • Conduct targeted conversations with candidates, interim managers and clients
  • Act as a KEYPLAYER brand ambassador to fill high-profile positions at well-known brands
  • Establish close collaboration with the Senior Advisor Board

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on experience in the mechanical and plant engineering industry or in a consulting firm with a comparable industry focus
  • Affinity for sales and business development
  • Passion for working with people and a strong service mentality
  • Structured, conscientious work style and entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour
  • Professional, presentable appearance
  • Strong commitment to quality and customer focus
  • Innovative problem-solver with dedication and drive
  • A professional network at decision-maker level in industry is an advantage but not a prerequisite
