About the role

  • Associate Director in automotive segment supporting Directors at KEYPLAYER Interim Management. Engaging in customer acquisition and management processes in the automotive and plant engineering sector.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director for Mechanical and Plant Engineering in building and expanding the segment
  • Develop innovative ideas for a structured approach to the segment
  • Professionally acquire and win new clients for key mandates
  • Develop and implement strategies based on market observations
  • Manage and expand existing client relationships
  • Lead placement processes for (inter)national mandates
  • Collaborate with research specialists and conduct candidate conversations
  • Act as a KEYPLAYER brand ambassador and inspire clients

Requirements

  • Several years of hands-on professional experience in the mechanical and plant engineering industry or in management consulting with a comparable industry focus and a corresponding network
  • Affinity for sales and business development
  • Strong service mentality and a passion for people
  • Structured, conscientious way of working as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Professional, representative appearance
  • Highest standards of quality and customer orientation as a natural expectation
  • Innovative problem-solver with commitment and drive
  • Professional network at decision-maker level within industry is an advantage but not required
