About the role

  • Associate Director supporting the growth of KEYPLAYER, a leading personnel consultancy, in the Maschinen-und Anlagenbau sector through innovative client engagement and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • You support the Director, Mechanical and Plant Engineering, in building and expanding the segment
  • To achieve growth targets, you develop innovative ideas for a structured approach to the segment together with the Director
  • Through structured, targeted and professional acquisition, you win new clients for the filling of key positions (interim mandates and permanent placements) and build and expand key accounts within the existing client base
  • Based on market observations, you develop strategies together with the Director to identify and fully exploit potential, and you share responsibility for implementing them
  • You manage our existing clients, continuously expand collaboration at management level and are responsible for developing and servicing key clients, with a focus on SMEs and corporations, nationally and internationally
  • You lead recruitment processes for (inter)national mandates, work hand in hand with our research specialists and conduct targeted discussions with candidates, interim managers and clients
  • You act as a brand ambassador for KEYPLAYER in your segment and impress our clients by filling high-calibre positions at well-known brands and hidden champions at senior leadership levels, as well as critical roles
  • You build close collaboration with our Senior Advisor Board and support the Director in recruiting additional advisors

Requirements

  • You bring several years of operational experience in the mechanical and plant engineering industry or have worked in a consultancy with a comparable industry focus and have built a relevant network
  • You have an affinity for sales and business development
  • Working with people and a strong service mentality are your passion; achieving targets and successfully managing demanding mandates is a rewarding task for you
  • You bring a structured, conscientious way of working as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • A professional, polished appearance is your trademark, with which you are valued and recognised by our clients at the top level as a partner and solution provider
  • Top quality and customer orientation are a natural expectation in your daily work
