About the role

  • Business Development Executive developing and managing relationships in the food service industry at Kepak. Responsible for proactive business development and account growth in Kirkham, UK.

Responsibilities

  • *Proactive Business Development and Relationship Building: *Independently reaching out to potential customers, gaining meetings, and building rapport with stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • *Research: *Independently searching for new opportunities, mapping stakeholders, and understanding their decision-making processes.
  • *Account Management: *Managing your own portfolio of key end-user accounts, ensuring strong relationships and meeting business KPIs.
  • *Account Growth: *Developing strategies to expand existing accounts and increase brand distribution.
  • *Pitching: *Creating and delivering high-quality, professional presentations to potential partners.
  • *Planning and Forecasting: *Building reports to track performance, identifying trends, and creating financial projections.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of commercial and networking experience in foodservice or food manufacturing.
  • Based in the UK with the ability to travel regularly.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • A self-starter with strong business development and sales skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities, negotiation skills, and the confidence to network with new and existing contacts.
  • Ability to lead pitches and high-impact presentations.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to interpret category and financial insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • An adaptable nature with a results-driven mindset.
