About the role

  • Operations Support Specialist providing admin and technical support to various departments for efficiency. Role involves potential growth into an operations manager position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Dedicated Services management team, including maintaining records and creating reports.
  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and systems, ensuring smooth transitions and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as maintenance, safety, recruiting, IT, finance, and human resources to ensure integrated and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to identify trends and issues, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide technical support, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and offering training and support to users.
  • Continuously monitor and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact operations.
  • Ensure projects are staying on track and assist in operational administrative work.
  • Step in to manage operations when other team members are on PTO, learning how the division operates to eventually move into an operations manager role as the division grows.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by supervisor.
  • Must be able to be on call outside of office hours
