About the role
- Cloud Solution Architect shaping efficient Azure environments with project responsibility at GISA, the largest IT full-service provider in Central Germany.
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of future-proof cloud system architectures in Azure and AWS
- In addition to project work: establishing scalable operational processes (including via Infrastructure as Code and integration into ITSM)
- Coordinating role in collaboration with our Cloud Engineers
- Advising clients on cloud migrations, system architectures, support concepts, as well as cost and performance optimizations
- Active support of the customer acquisition process in the role of technical sales
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field; alternatively vocational training as an IT specialist
- Several years of professional experience in roles such as Cloud Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar
- Solid experience managing Azure and/or AWS via portal, CLI, and Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform/OpenTofu)
- Initial experience with the Cloud Adoption Framework and the Well-Architected Framework, as well as common availability and network designs (e.g., hub-and-spoke)
- An independent, meticulous, and service-oriented working style
- German and English language skills, at least B2 level (CEFR) in both)
