About the role
- Referent Global Accounting managing corporate financial statements according to HGB. Responsibilities include consolidation, reporting, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Independently execute, analyze and further develop the consolidation of group monthly, planning, forecast and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Prepare the consolidated financial statements and the related notes
- Act as a point of contact for domestic and foreign subsidiaries as well as for auditors on commercial-law accounting matters
- Execute, analyze and further develop internal and external reporting
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses/reports for management
- Design, implement and operate an internal Group Reporting Quality Framework to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Degree in economics, business administration or a related field with a focus on accounting, consolidation, finance or auditing
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in consolidated financial reporting and/or auditing
- Strong knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and ideally experience with SAP S/4HANA for Group Reporting and common ERP systems
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
