About the role
- Senior Supervisor managing Treasury Accounting for CMA CGM Group, ensuring compliance and driving improvements in financial processes for an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Treasury Accounting department
- Manage and motivate the team responsible for Bank Accounting, Treasury flows and Investments
- Ensure the reliability of the accounts, the quality of financial close processes and compliance with Group standards and procedures within your scope
- Be responsible for "banks and investments" reporting to the Finance Directorate
- Organize activities, prioritize deadlines and support the development of the team’s skills
- Act as the key point of contact for internal teams (Finance, Projects, IT), subsidiaries and shared service centers regarding the accounting of treasury flows
- Actively participate in the modernization and continuous improvement of accounting processes (standardization, digitalization...)
- Contribute to defining business requirements for projects affecting Accounting
- Participate in testing, deployment and user training phases, and support change management with the teams
- Ensure project compliance with accounting policy and Group standards
- Define, formalize and evolve processes, procedures and accounting schemas
- Propose improvements to optimize tools and increase the reliability of closing processes
- Strengthen accounting documentation and the internal control framework
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience, acquired in an audit firm and subsequently in a corporate environment
- Comfortable in international, multi-stakeholder contexts
- Ability to work in project mode and across functions
- Strong analytical skills, rigor and the ability to synthesize
- Fluent in English and French; knowledge of SAP is a plus
