About the role

  • Accounting Manager responsible for financial reporting and accounting processes in a multicultural environment. Leading a small team and collaborating with external auditors and accounting firms.

Responsibilities

  • Management of accounting processes and financial reporting
  • Consolidation of accounting inputs for the monthly closing and timely delivery to the external accounting firm
  • Cooperation with and oversight of the external company responsible for accounting
  • Month-end and year-end closings, cooperation with external auditors
  • Management of the cost-invoice validation process, correct setup in the internal system, payment authorization in the bank, and cashflow monitoring
  • Ensuring proper processing of the company’s tax returns
  • Issuing intercompany invoices
  • Monitoring and analyzing of accounting data and providing required analyses for internal clients (Excel or Power BI)
  • Administration of internal financial processes: business trips, Travel Fund, etc.
  • Supporting management in key areas related to financial processes
  • Setting up and supervising compliance with appropriate accounting processes, policies, and controls
  • Managing a small team (2–3 people) of Financial Assistants and Specialists, and reporting to the Finance Director

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of previous accounting management experience
  • Proven knowledge of accounting, accounting principles, procedures, standards, laws, and regulations
  • Demonstrated experience with continuous process optimization and process improvement
  • Proficiency in Czech and English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in team management (as an advantage)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and strong time management skills
  • Master’s Degree in Finance
