About the role
- Project Director responsible for overseeing strategic international projects with considerable financial impact at Equans subsidiary, emphasizing leadership in diverse and complex teams.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the planning, management and successful delivery of international large-scale projects of strategic importance
- Leadership and development of international, internal and external multidisciplinary project teams
- Leading the project from the tender phase through to handover to the client
- Ensuring schedule, budget and quality objectives at the highest level
- Active risk management and confident resolution of technical, commercial and organizational challenges
- Managing communication with clients, authorities, partners and suppliers
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, civil engineering, energy engineering or a comparable qualification
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading large-scale projects > €50 million
- Outstanding leadership skills combined with strategic vision
- Deep understanding of project management, contract management, project controlling and coordination of multiple trades
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and a confident presence at C‑level
- Business-fluent German and English; French skills are an advantage
- Willingness to travel for active on-site project management, including internationally
