About the role

  • Senior Manager leading procurement transformation at Transport for NSW. Overseeing policy and governance framework, driving innovative solutions and managing a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve Transport’s end-to-end procurement policy and governance framework
  • Draft, maintain and modernise procurement policies, procedures and templates
  • Champion social, sustainable and ethical procurement
  • Partner with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to develop innovative procurement solutions
  • Drive consultation and engagement across Transport for NSW
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing procurement policy team

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing procurement frameworks within complex organisations
  • Deep understanding of public sector procurement policies, governance requirements and compliance frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder management capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven record of forming collaborative, influential relationships with senior leaders, peers and cross‑functional teams
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams through transformation
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent extensive experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement best practice, governance frameworks and enterprise systems including SAP and Ariba
