Responsibilities
Develop and implement category strategy: You define the strategic direction for your categories in the area of electrical and electromechanical modules and components. Together with the development and quality departments, you implement this strategy with the goal of sustainably improving cost efficiency and supplier collaboration.
Global market analysis & supplier selection: You conduct international procurement market analyses and manage the entire selection process for new suppliers — from tendering and evaluation to award and contract drafting.
Forward-looking negotiation: You conduct price and contract negotiations with international suppliers and service providers — consistently, respectfully, and purposefully. You always keep total cost of ownership (TCO), quality and delivery performance in focus.
Supplier management & audits: You optimize the existing supplier base through systematic evaluations and support audits to ensure quality and compliance standards.
Requirements
You have a completed university degree.
You bring several years of experience in strategic procurement of mechanical parts and components.
You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills that enable a strategic approach to complex tasks.
You present yourself confidently and have proven yourself as an experienced negotiation partner in both national and international contexts.
Your assertiveness is combined with a communicative and team-oriented personality.
You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
You have good knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
