Responsibilities
lead and strengthen JFF’s enterprise-wide impact measurement systems and data infrastructure
support and lead major initiatives including the American Job Quality Survey and North Star measurement
manage a team of researchers and contribute to fundraising and proposal development
help shape the future of JFF’s research portfolio by evaluating tools and methodologies
design strategies that anticipate long-term goals
engage in ongoing dialogue to refine strategies
analyze a large, complex dataset on job quality to answer enterprise inquiries
define and implement a process for internal data use
facilitate Business Unit-specific work sessions to help leaders apply data within their portfolios
lead data collection, analysis, and reporting for JFF’s Program Impact Measurement system
use PIM data to produce actionable insights that inform organizational strategy
strengthen data quality and privacy standards
Requirements
experienced researcher and systems thinker with significant experience in applied research, evaluation, or data strategy
deep understanding of impact measurement frameworks, performance indicators, and data governance practices
extensive experience in both quantitative and qualitative research and analysis
demonstrated ability to design and interpret surveys, analyze large datasets, and synthesize qualitative data into actionable insights
highly skilled in conducting labor market intelligence analyses
extensive experience with data collection, analytics, and visualization using tools such as Baserow, Domo, Alchemer, SPSS, etc
adept at integrating mixed-methods findings and working with external research partners
demonstrated success leading enterprise-level data infrastructure or research systems
exceptional communicator who can translate complex data into compelling narratives
proven experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams
