About the role

  • Director of Compensation at SelectQuote responsible for compensation program strategy and administration. Leading compensation analytics and ensuring competitive market positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes operational objectives, policies, and procedures of SelectQuote’s compensation programs
  • Ensures SelectQuote remains competitive in the market
  • Provides compensation data analytics support to leadership
  • Responsible for the development, administration, and implementation for compensation policies and practices
  • Lead the execution of compensation programs including annual merit increases and annual bonus plans
  • Conduct comprehensive market competitive analysis of all positions on an annual basis
  • Partner with HRBPs, recruiting, and leaders to provide insight and recommendations on compensation matters
  • Manages third party vendors and outside consultants
  • Responsible for all compliance with SOX pertaining to compensation tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business field required
  • 7-8 years of relevant professional experience, with 4 years specifically in compensation experience preferred
  • 4 years of leadership experience required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with UKG, iCIMS and CompXL is a plus
  • Experience in a multi-state 500+ employee insurance, financial, or service industry office environment is desirable
  • Knowledge of federal laws and regulations related to the administration of compensation programs
