Responsibilities
- Lead the Cost Override function, managing both Front End and Back End processes for vendor claims
- Oversee approximately $3B in annual volume, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are tracked and met to support the business effectively
- Drive the Vendor Discount Program, including onboarding vendors into GDE
- Manage and develop a team of four direct reports, providing guidance and accountability
- Apply subject matter expertise to influence internal stakeholders, vendors, and peer managers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Minimum of 8 years of functional experience
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and vendor-related financial processes
- Strong reporting and database management capabilities
- Effective time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to influence customers, suppliers, and peer managers
