About the role
- Trading Application Support Engineer providing operational support for trading applications at ING in Poland. Requires experience in software support or DevOps with strong skills in Linux, CI/CD, and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage incidents, requests, and change tickets
- Provide daily operational support for trading application and environments
- Drive automation of repetitive tasks and manual processes
- Continuously improve support workflows and system reliability
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies
- Implement, improve, and manage the release pipeline, including automated functional and non-functional testing
- Work closely with end users to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in software support or DevOps, preferably in supporting highly scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows Server administration
- Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or others
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management
- Basic scripting and automation skills
- Experience with monitoring tools, such as Zabbix
- English level: B2/C1
- Familiarity with financial markets or trading systems support is a plus
- Experience in supporting end users in resolving configuration issues in production environments is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to incident prevention and resolution is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset is a plus
