Responsibilities
You actively acquire new customers from the machine and plant engineering sector and convince them of our smart software solutions for production optimization.
You independently manage the entire sales process — from situation and needs analysis through presentations and workshops to proposal preparation and contract negotiation.
You identify what customers really need, analyze complex challenges, and demonstrate how our solutions deliver real value — in quality, timing, and economic terms.
You work closely with our CRM system, maintain a reliable pipeline, and use forecasts as a planning tool rather than as mere estimates.
You build sustainable relationships — even during long decision-making processes — and guide your contacts through the sales process with expertise and tact.
You use trade shows and industry events in mechanical engineering strategically for networking and lead generation.
You will be supported by Business Development with qualified leads that you successfully convert into customers.
Requirements
Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
2–5 years of experience in consultative sales of complex software solutions, e.g., as a Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or Customer Success Manager.
Strong technical understanding, ideally with an IT background, and knowledge of ERP systems and production planning.
Strong communication and presentation skills, and a confident presence — at both departmental and C-level.
Experience with SaaS products and a good sense for commercial dynamics and sales opportunities.
Independent, systematic, and structured way of working — combined with genuine team spirit.
Fluent German (at least C1) and very good written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel occasionally within the DACH region.
