About the role

  • Junior Communication Analyst producing digital content for Museu do Amanhã, involving editing videos, social media strategy, and onsite communication tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit texts, photos and videos for social media;
  • Monitor content and format trends on social media;
  • Support and contribute to the development of the digital strategy focused on social media;
  • Assist coordination in organizing schedules and tasks, helping to meet communication campaign deadlines;
  • Review textual content for the website, newsletter, briefings and other materials when necessary;
  • Create and maintain the content plan for the Museum's social media, website and newsletter;
  • Prepare briefs for content production;
  • Oversee the creation of advertising and institutional campaigns;
  • Update and maintain social channels and the website, and manage transparency index targets;
  • Monitor the reach and impact of content on social media and track audience engagement (comments, shares, check-ins, etc.);
  • Analyze engagement metrics for social media and audience visitation metrics for the website;
  • Work on the creation of new channels, apps, engagement campaigns, interactive initiatives and promotional actions for the Museum;
  • Monitor daily press clipping and news related to society, culture, anti-racist and decolonial initiatives, identities, human rights and related topics;
  • Create content, design layouts and send email marketing for the Museum's project campaigns;
  • Act in prevention and contingency planning for digital crises;
  • Support and operate pre-production and execution of the Museum's live streams, together with the IT team;
  • Provide online coverage of live streams for chats and synchronous channels;
  • Update social channels when required;
  • Manage and update the mailing list;
  • Monitor strategic projects such as CRM, podcasts, web TV, Communication Hub and others;
  • Manage paid traffic.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Humanities (Marketing, Journalism, Social Communication) or related fields;
  • Comfortable and confident on camera for participation in videos, recordings and live streams for the Museum;
  • Heavy user of social media;
  • Skill in video editing and creating content for social media;
  • Previous experience with projects and/or institutions related to topics such as Society, Diversity, Culture, Human Rights, Museology and Inclusion;
  • Basic knowledge of design;
  • Basic knowledge of photography and/or audiovisual production.
