About the role

  • Intern supporting the Public Communications and Engagement Unit in designing visual content for human rights advocacy. Generating multimedia assets and supporting documentation of human rights stories.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Public Communications and Engagement Unit in designing compelling graphics, animations, and visual content
  • Generate high-quality graphics, animations, photography, and multimedia assets for campaigns, social media, reports, and promotional materials
  • Brainstorm, conceptualize, and deliver innovative visual content and advocacy materials that amplify human rights initiatives
  • Support timely documentation of human rights stories and events through photography and multimedia content

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor of Arts in Animation, Graphic Design, Creative Arts, or a related field
  • Proficient in graphic design software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Basic skills in animation software (After Effects or equivalent)
  • Photography and videography skills are an added advantage
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Passion for human rights and social justice
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
