About the role

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to gather and understand customer requirements and assist in developing tailored technical solutions.
  • Learn to interpret customer needs and translate them into technical deliverables with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of technical presentations, demonstrations, and bids and proposals for customers.
  • Assist in maintaining technical documentation, product specifications, and authoring bids and proposal materials.
  • Use AI tools for research, data analysis, presentation preparation, and workflow automation to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept activities, product evaluations, and solution testing.
  • Stay current on ICEYE’s product offerings and the wider Earth Observation and satellite data landscape.
  • Continuously build your technical and commercial knowledge to grow into a more senior Sales Engineer role.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of experience in a technical or customer-facing role.
  • Foundational understanding of remote sensing, geospatial technologies, or engineering principles, with a strong desire to deepen your expertise in these areas.
  • Demonstrated interest in the operational use of satellite imagery and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively across teams.
  • Eagerness to learn from colleagues and to develop presentation and technical sales skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort using or willingness to embrace AI tools (for writing, presentation and analysis) to improve efficiency and creativity in daily work.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Remote Sensing, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
