Responsibilities
Coordinate construction and commissioning activities across multiple projects
Ensure safe, high-quality, timely, and cost-effective project completion
Manage oversight and performance accountability for Field Construction Managers
Develop service specifications and manage contractor performance
Ensure completion of field inspections and functional testing
Manage outsourced construction contractors to ensure compliance with safety and budget
Provide constructability feedback on construction standards
Lead site activities to address electrical system emergencies
Proactively identify construction risks and implement mitigation plans
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 7 years of relevant experience preferred
Associate degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience
High School/GED plus completion of the relevant progression program and 15 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressive electric utility industry experience preferred
3 years of supervisory experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver’s license
Ability and willingness to travel daily to construction sites and attend meetings
