Responsibilities
Develops, executes and optimizes internal communications
Oversees a high performing team
Designs and implements an internal communications strategy
Integrates communication priorities across dean's office and system-wide functions
Serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership
Ensures consistency in tone, voice and messaging architecture
Monitors and shares best practices in internal communications
Builds, leads and mentors a high performing internal communications team
Drafts and coordinates high-impact communications from the dean and executive team
Partners with leaders of school-wide functions to develop strategies
Manages communications platforms to ensure clear and consistent messages
Acts as a connector between the dean's office and the departments
Supports internal response to crisis and urgent communications
Performs related responsibilities as required
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field
Eight years of related experience including communications or public relations
Experience in leading and managing a high performing team
Demonstrated success in advising and collaborating with senior leaders
Strong judgment, discretion and agility in navigating fast-paced environments
Strong storytelling skills
Deep change management expertise
