About the role

  • Lead Social Strategy role at a top agency redefining international strategies across platforms. Managing a team and developing social frameworks to enhance global brand presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an internationally scalable social strategy across all relevant platforms
  • Build, lead and further develop a social strategy team
  • Create global social frameworks, guidelines and governance models for multiple markets
  • Analyze international audience insights, trends and competitive landscapes
  • Manage and harmonize strategic social setups across different international markets
  • Work closely with front-end agencies, influencer marketing, paid social, creative, innovation, data and media on social-first campaigns
  • Provide strategic senior-level counsel and take responsibility for international pitches and large-scale projects
  • Identify global social trends and evolve the international social portfolio
  • Develop proprietary agency products and solutions

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in social strategy on the agency or client side, ideally with international responsibility
  • Proven expertise in cross-platform social conceptualization (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of audience insights, trend scouting and data-driven social strategy
  • Experience building global frameworks, using tools and implementing cross-market governance
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent presentation and advisory skills at C-level
  • Very good English; additional languages are a plus
