About the role

  • Service technician providing on-site support for inspection devices in Germany and Europe. Responsible for installation, maintenance, customer communication, and training.

Responsibilities

  • On-site service: Install, commission and support our inspection devices directly at the customer’s site
  • Maintenance & repair: Perform inspections, modifications and repairs on existing devices and machines
  • Fault analysis: Diagnose technical faults and resolve them independently and efficiently
  • User training: Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the devices and provide support for technical questions
  • Customer communication: Coordinate appointments, spare-part deliveries and technical matters in close coordination with customers and internal departments
  • International assignments: Support our customers primarily in Germany, occasionally in Europe and rarely worldwide

Requirements

  • Technical education: You have completed vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics or a comparable technical qualification
  • Working style: You work independently, are service-oriented and have a strong quality awareness
  • Customer focus: You bring empathy, openness and intercultural competence when dealing with international customers
  • Willingness to travel: You are flexible and prepared to travel regularly within Germany and occasionally internationally
  • Language skills: You have good English skills, especially in technical contexts
  • Teamwork: You collaborate reliably with colleagues and customers and take responsibility in field service
