About the role

  • IT Support Engineer providing IT support for Apple-based environments, assisting various businesses in Germany. Focusing on infrastructure management, customer support, and system integration.

Responsibilities

  • You support customers in operating and further developing their IT infrastructure – remotely via remote access or in person on site.
  • General IT support for customers
  • Analysis and resolution of spontaneous hardware and software issues
  • General first- and second-level support
  • Ongoing support of clients, infrastructures and applications
  • Setup and integration of IT systems
  • Installation and configuration of macOS workstations, iPhones & iPads
  • Configuration of networks (LAN/WLAN), firewalls and VPN
  • Setup & integration of storage and backup systems
  • Setup & integration of VoIP telephone systems and endpoints
  • Special IT infrastructure for medical practices
  • Setup and integration of the practice management software tomedo
  • Integration of Apple devices and peripherals into practice workflows
  • Planning & deployment of complete IT environments for new medical practices, including migration from Windows infrastructures to the Apple ecosystem
  • Managed services: remote monitoring and updates
  • Support for (Mobile) Device Management setups
  • Documentation and continuous improvement of IT structures

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT support for businesses
  • Experience from an IT systems integrator or IT service provider is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of macOS or the Apple ecosystem in general
  • Experience with professional IT infrastructure (clients, networks, backup, VoIP, etc.)
  • Structured working style and discipline for good documentation
  • Enjoyment of direct customer contact
  • German language skills, spoken and written, at least B2 level
  • Driver’s license class B (for on-site assignments)
