  • Territory Sales Manager at Hastings Insurance, managing agency relationships and underwriting decisions in Ohio. Focused on business growth through training, analysis, and market support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop strong agency partnerships across an assigned territory.
  • Deliver hands-on underwriting support within your authority.
  • Support 60–100 independent agencies.
  • Deliver training to agency personnel on quoting, submissions, and Hastings products.
  • Monitor agency productivity and loss performance; recommend actions to optimize results.
  • Analyze territory performance data and prepare marketing reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 6 years in Property & Casualty insurance
  • Strong focus on Commercial Lines and agency-facing roles
  • CIC, CPCU, or other professional designations preferred
  • Deep knowledge of underwriting, rating, and agency management
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet our fleet safety standards
