About the role

  • Manager leading presales and strategic transformation for HPE's hybrid cloud initiatives in the Benelux region, engaging directly with customers and developing best practices for the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a transformation roadmap for the hybrid cloud presales function that elevates presales to strategic, customer-facing influencers across Benelux.
  • Reframe solution and proposal design to prioritize HPE hybrid and private cloud architectures, incorporate the HPE Cloud software portfolio, and embed value‑added services for end-to-end customer outcomes.
  • Partner with sales leadership, product management, services, and partners to create repeatable, scalable solution patterns, IP and playbooks for hybrid/private cloud opportunities.
  • Measure and report transformation progress with clear KPIs (e.g., presales-driven pipeline influence, solution attach rates, win rates on hybrid/private cloud deals, customer satisfaction).
  • Lead a team of presales professionals across roles (Technical Consultants, Technical Client Consultants, Enterprise Architects) to provide account and shared resource support for the Benelux region.
  • Act as the management point of contact for Belgium—representing presales to local sales leadership, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Build utilization and coverage plans to align presales capacity with target regions, accounts and strategic cloud opportunities in Benelux.
  • Regularly engage with customers at technical and executive levels as a visible, strategic presales leader across Benelux.
  • Coach and enable the team to use consultative and value-based selling methods that link HPE hybrid/private cloud solutions to customers’ business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); advanced degree or certifications in cloud/IT/engineering or business preferred.
  • Typically 7+ years in sales or presales roles, with demonstrable management experience leading presales teams and contributing to quota achievement.
  • Proven experience driving transformation initiatives, building solution playbooks, or launching cloud-focused go-to-market motions.
  • Strong project management skills and experience coordinating cross-functional teams (sales, services, product, partners).
